Tintic School District Office

This new facility located in the mining town of Eureka, Utah was designed to have the appearance of a mine shaft. The finishes include large timbers and time period light fixtures in the entry way and a rough concrete finish on exterior facade. Eureka has a storied history of mining in the early days of the State of Utah and the owner wanted this new facility to reflect that heritage. The purpose of the structure is to provide facilities for the students of Tintic High School as well as a nice place for the people of Eureka to use for civic and town activities. It includes a commons area for dining, a board room for the district school board, an exercise facility and gymnasium.
