Washington Co. School District Transportation & Warehouse Facility Expansion

Tilt-up concrete construction was used on both additions at the transportation and warehouse buildings. All concrete and steel work was self performed by Bud Mahas Construction. Part of the addition includes new bus maintenance space for the district featuring in-ground bus lifts, exhaust removal systems, and retractable hose reels, which allow district mechanics to quickly access compressed air, grease, transmission oil, motor oil, and antifreeze. The warehouse addition consists of more warehouse space with a brand new industrial freezer as well as loading docks with dock leveler systems for food delivery and storage. This new facility will allow the district to keep up with a growing population and increased demand on buses and warehouse space throughout the St. George area
